Abdelwahab Hussain faces serious medical concerns
‘Abdelwahab Hussain, one of the 13 imprisoned activists, has chronic paresthesia, which causes tingling and numbness as a result of nerve damage. Additionally, he has a low haemoglobin count, which causes constant dizziness. Hussain's medical care has been inadequate, and visits from his family have been inexplicably cancelled. Amnesty International is concerned for his health and well-being, and is calling on the Bahraini government to remedy the situation.
